Laskin, Bora
(1912-84)
   Canadian scholar and jurist. Born in Fort Willam Onatrio, he studied at the University of Toronto and Harvard University. Later he taught at the University of Toronto. In 1965 he became a justice of the Ontario Court of Appeals; later he was a judge of the Supreme Court of Canada. In 1973 he was appointed chief justice.
